The One Skill Holding 95% of People Back From Success

It's so simple in theory but so many people don't realize the power of this skill.

There's a million and one skills to master if you want to be successful in life.

You can practice consistency, networking, investing, empathy, creativity, discipline, and so much more.

And these skills are practiced by people from all walks of life, the rich and poor, the famous and fameless, and even the healthy and sick.

But the poor may be trying to learn investing more than the rich who have already accomplished financial success.

And the famous are not worried about networking as much as the fameless may be.

Many different skills can help with reaching success but it depends on where you are in life and what you're trying to accomplish.

However, there is one skill that everyone can practice, that EVERYONE can get value from.

And I mean everyone.

It doesn't matter how rich, famous, or healthy you may already be.

As a matter of fact, the more successful you think you are, the more you should be practicing this one powerful skill.

And it's sad because we all know what skill this is but we rarely ever think about it until one time of the year.

Thanksgiving.

The one skill holding 95% of people back from genuine success is gratefulness.

And don't tell me gratefulness is a character trait you're born with because that's wrong.

Gratefulness is a skill.

The more you learn to appreciate the things you have around you, the better you get at being grateful.

And the more grateful you are, the happier you become.

It's so simple in theory but so many people don't realize the power of this skill.

The reality of life is that everything you experience is experienced through your mind.

You can buy the most expensive Bugatti supercar and never feel accomplished.

You can get the sexiest boyfriend that models in Vogue and never feel love.

You can get your dream job traveling on cruise ships for a living and still never feel fulfilled.

The world has tricked us into thinking that we can acquire things to find success.

The world has tricked us into thinking we can spend money on expensive experiences to find happiness.

The world has tricked us into thinking the more we have the more great we feel.

The truth is, true greatness comes from truly being grateful.

This is important because so many of us work so hard day in and out trying to get closer and closer to this thing called success.

And the worst feeling in the world is trekking all the way up the mountain just to realize there was no view at the top.

If we learn to practice gratefulness everyday, not just at Thanksgiving, it will pay dividends.

The better you get at being grateful, the more you find to be grateful for.

Don't stop your journey to find success and happiness.

But practice gratefulness along the way and you're more likely to find the success you're searching for.

So as the holidays approach, give, help, volunteer and support others.

Look around at all you have and all you've done.

There is no object, experience, or person that will give you that one special "thing".

You have to make the things, people, and experiences you already have special to y...

In progress,

Tim
