The Simple Way To Unlock More Brain Power In 2 Seconds

The last time most of us remember pushing our minds in a productive way, was in our first calculus math class.

The human mind is a true work of art.

If you take a moment to step outside and go for a short walk, you'll be surrounded by the limitless ideas humans have brought to reality.

Everything from skyscrapers that stand thousands of feet high, to huge chunks of metal gracefully flying through the sky.

When we use our minds, we can create nearly anything we can imagine.

And it's crazy to think there are over 7 billion plus of these supercomputer imagination machines roaming around the Earth.

Including the one that you're using to comprehend the words you're currently reading.

Your mind is powerful.

But with great power comes great responsibility.

(Please don't sue me, Marvel!)

Seriously though. Our minds are complex machines that can do incalculable computations but that doesn't mean it works on autopilot.

We have to make an effort to maintain and even enhance our minds on a daily basis.

And let's be honest, the last time most of us remember pushing our minds in a productive way, was in our first calculus math class.

Kanye, Drake, and Billie Eilish songs aren't pushing our minds, they're mushing them.

But what if there was a simple mindset shift that you could do in 2 seconds to stimulate your mind on a daily basis.

Well there is. And it's so much simpler than you think.

Try new things.

That's it.

Make an effort to try new things each and every chance that you get.

Your mind can't help but switch into overdrive whenever there's something new for it to digest.

And I know you might immediately start thinking of the most extreme new things you can imagine like bungee jumping into the grand canyon.

That sounds fun. Send me an invite :)

But it's not about going to radically crazy extremes.

It's about the consistent exposure to new stimuli.

The super high tech AI projects that Google pours billions of dollars into is just one big attempt to recreate the human brain.

And let me tell you, those AI copycat brains are useless when there's no more data to analyze, no challenges to beat, and no humans to destroy....just kidding.

Our brains are just like those AI algoritihms but so much better.

We don't have to wait around to get fed a new data set of images from a researcher.

We can just scroll through Instagram and pick a completely random hashtag to explore.

We don't have to wait for one specific but impossible problem to spend years thinking through.

We can just turn on the news and instantly we have problems to ponder. But instead we can consume news from a whole different country. Forget the U.S., what's a challenge that Thailand or Jamaica is facing.

The point is, it doesn't take much to try new things.

Try new foods, books, driving routes, activities, and even entertainment.

It doesn't really matter what it is. What matters is that your brain gets to work, explore, and digest new materials.

It keeps your supercomputer, super.

And with all the ways a strong mind enhances our life, it should be a priority.

Because the reality is, if you don't use it...

In progress,

Tim
