How To Solve Literally Any Problem

Solve any and all of your problems with this one resource.

The journey of living and learning is paved by problems.

And while that may sound sad, it’s really a great thing.

Your life would be nothing more than a boring timelapse video if not for the problems you encounter along the way.

And those problems can sometimes be trivial, like finding something you want to eat.

(We call those first world problems.)

But on the other hand those problems can be critical, like finding something you can eat.

That’s a whole different level of problem.

But whether we’re facing big problems, or small problems your life is all but guaranteed to have problems.

And it’s the challenge of learning to endure, overcome, or outsmart those problems that is the fun part.

Or rather the valuable part.

Because with each problem you surpass, you level up as person.

So today I’m going to share with you a powerful idea.

An idea that I can only describe as…How To Solve Literally Any Problem.

First off, I know this is a crazy statement.

If there was someone who knew how to solve any problem, they’d be the world’s first trillionaire by now.

You’re right.

But who says I’m not a trillionaire. ;)

Okay I’m not.

But I do know how to solve any problem.

And at the same time, I only know how to solve a few problems.

It makes absolutely no sense, but let me explain it to you.

All problems are different and unique.

I have the problem of moving out of my parents house.

And you have the problem of wanting to make more money this year.

And those problems are nothing alike.

One may have a timeframe, and the other can be solved whenever.

One may be serious, while the other is just a preference.

Pretty much every single problem we experience in the world has different parameters, intensity, timelines, constraints, and more.

But there’s one thing that every single problem has in common.

It has been experienced, and solved by someone else before.

Think about it.

There are 7 billion people on Earth right now.

Out of 7 billion people alive, do you think you’re the only person that has gotten a flat tire on the way to work?

Out of 7 billion people alive, do you think you’re the only person that has been fired from their job with bills to pay next month?

Let’s take it even further.

Say you are so special that your problem happens 1 in 7 billion times.

You’re forgetting to include all the other humans that came before you.

So the better question is… Out of 117 billion humans that ever existed do you think you’re the only person to have broken a limb?

Or whatever problems you’re currently experiencing.

Listen, the goal here is not to minimalize the problems you have on your plate, but rather to put it into perspective.

And that brings me to my next point…

The solution.

The solution to every problem is out there, you just have to find someone that has solved it before.

So if I broke my leg jumping on a trampoline, (and let’s pretend doctors don’t exist), I need to find someone that’s broken their leg before as well and ask them for the solution.

It seems really silly but if you think about it, that’s how our world works now.

A foot doctor is an expert because they’ve seen a lot of foots and they’ve seen a lot of foot injuries.

So they have a lot of solutions to people that have foot problems.

Your problems are no different.

If you search hard enough, you will find that every problem, and I mean EVERY PROBLEM you have is something someone else has solved before.

You just have to be willing to find that person, and execute the solution.

Sometimes it may be a family member, other times it’s a stranger from across the globe.

But the solutions to your problems are sitting in someone’s head right now.

You just have to politely ask them for it.

Or pay. (Who knows?)

But seriously, this mindset shift is a powerful new way to advance through life.

Don’t ever get stuck at any problem because you’re too prideful to find someone that’s done it before.

It’s one of the fastest and most efficient ways to progress.

And as a fellow WIP, your goal is progress, not pride.

Solve any and all of your problems with the one resource that has been at your fingertips since day one, collective humanity…

In progress,

Tim

P.S. - I’m pretty proud of this other post…
