How To Unlock Your Inner Genius Without Decades Of Stressful Studying

You don't have to be a rocket scientist that can calculate quantum physics in a split second to be a genius.

The highest compliment someone can give another person is that they are a genius.

We often say it in passing when we're highly impressed with how someone thinks or their level of intelligence.

Regardless of age, race, culture, or generation we all have innate respect for people that are highly mentally capable.

We love geniuses.

A genius is something we can all be.

We as humans are all made up of the same core parts.

We have a heart, we have skin to protect our organs, and we have a mind to experience the world and develop our thoughts.

The truth is, a genius is not someone who holds tons and tons of knowledge.

A genius is someone that has optimized their mind.

You don't have to be a rocket scientist that can calculate quantum physics in a split second to be a genius. (Although that's very impressive.)

There are musical geniuses that can compose music that sounds like heaven to our ears like Beethoven.

There are strategical geniuses that can think hundreds of moves ahead in a game of chess like Magnus Carlson.

And there are highly talented organizational geniuses that could turn a hoarder's house into a beautiful model home like Marie Kondo.

Genius doesn't mean any one thing. Genius means understanding your mind.

Genius means knowing your strengths and weaknesses inside and out.

And then taking that knowledge to become a super version of you.

You are a genius. You just have to choose to unlock it.

Here's how you can do just that.

  1. Learn your biases.

You should know by now that you are not perfect.

You weren't born into this world with all the answers or attributes needed to be everything to everyone.

Even if you were born perfect, the things you've seen and experienced in this imperfect world would change you.

We all have biases that make us who we are.

Learn those biases and it will be easier to know where you fall short.

Don't be the guy walking around that everyone feels bad for because they have 0 self awareness.

2. Learn to counter those biases.

If you're super logical, learn to take in more emotions.

If you only watch Youtube for your news, try seeing the world through TikTok or Reddit one day.

Your biases aren't a issue. Your biases are opportunities for you to grow.

A great way to counter many of your biases to surround yourself with people that are different than you.

Get a girlfriend that looks at things a little different than you rather than being a carbon copy of you.

3. Explore what you don't know.

One of the best ways to unlock your inner genius is to expose yourself to new and novel situations.

When we experience new things it puts our minds into hyperdrive.

We think. We observe. We learn.

So making a list of many things you don't know.

The world is so expansive you could never experience it all.

Just think. There's so many worlds of information and experiences that you would never have stepped foot into.

I have no idea what horseback riding is like. Or what is it like to go deep sea diving. Or to what is like to be a fighter pilot in a war?

There's much we close ourselves off to in life.

Explore those foreign worlds and it will unlock the deepest layers of your mind.

4. Go back to what you know.

Once you experience all these new things, with as little bias as possible, and learn new novel ideas, there's only one thing left to do.

Bring those novel insights back to what you know.

Every unusual idea or crazy new perspective you've gained should be brought back to your world.

That's where new insights are made.

Maybe there's something from the world of horseback riding that can add value in my world of business.

And that might sound stupid when you say it out loud.

But that's exactly why most people never take the time to explore those ideas and thoughts.

Your inner genius is unlocked when you explore the world in a way that others choose not to.

You can be the most creative nurse, or most present chess player, or the most profitable horseback rider.

Just explore.

Your genius is inside of you and it's just waiting to be un...
